Description

The arena was built to keep the stars alive. Now it's falling apart — and so are you. You are what remains of a shattered star, drifting through a dying galaxy with only echoes of your former light. Gather your fragments. Restore your glow. Before the void closes in.

PushThemOut: Time Is Out is a cosmic billiards survival game: part pool table, part bullet-hell, entirely unforgiving. You control a lone star fragment rolling through a neon space arena — shoot, nudge, and dodge your way to victory by knocking enemies into the corner holes before they knock you in first. Each of the six levels escalates the chaos: asteroids, black holes, minefields, and worse. At the end, a final boss that brings everything crashing down.

Game Rules

  • Use WASD (or arrow keys) to move your ball around the arena
  • Left-click to shoot a small projectile to push out your deadly enemies
  • Collect the stars required for each level
  • If you fall in a hole yourself, you respawn after a short delay
  • Time restriction: 10 minutes to complete the game
  • The game features 3 endings based on the player's result

AI Usage / Developer Notes

The following project is a revision of the original game "PushThemOut: online co-op" that was built with no AI and was divided into the server part (Python) and the client part (Unity C#), its architecture was explained under the following article. However, when we wanted to play this game again it got a bit challenging to recover the game due to outdated Python/Unity versions, the server/client division so we decided to come up with a standalone game that has no client/server division and is easy to start (only the browser is required). Using Claude (Opus 4.7) we were able to recreate the idea of the original game under the following repo, so that we and anyone can play our game at any time with no need to download/install anything :)
